Pancharatna Govinda Temple

The Pancharatna Temple is one of the attractions of Putia upazila in Rajshahi district. The temple is a two-storied building constructed in a square. The length of the building is approximately 48 feet. You will find four peaks in the four corners of the roof of this two-storey building. And you can see 1 peak in the middle of the central cell. It is also known as Pancharatna temple, because there are five peaks in the temple. The terracotta design of the temple wall fascinates the tourists. In these designs Ramayana, Mahabharata, myths, war scenes, hunt, various plants etc. have been found. This temple is a unique artifact of the nineteenth century.
